  • adjustment after moving to another country and immigration-related stress;
  • low self-esteem and difficulty accepting oneself;
  • feeling disconnected from personal values and what matters most;

Therapeutic Approaches

Inga uses an integrative approach, selecting methods according to the client’s concerns and goals. Her work draws on:

  • existential-humanistic therapy;
  • systemic family therapy;
  • narrative practice;
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS);
  • restorative approaches to conflict.

Patients may schedule a single consultation for a specific concern or begin ongoing work. Individual sessions and couples counseling are available.

Concerns Outside Inga Green’s Scope of Practice

The following situations require a different type of care or a specialized referral pathway:

  • alcohol or drug addiction;
  • eating disorders as the primary reason for seeking care;
  • psychological care for anyone under age 18;
  • domestic violence;
  • acute thought disturbances.

Psychological Care and Psychiatric Treatment

Inga Green is not a psychiatrist and does not prescribe medication. If a client may benefit from medication or needs a medical evaluation of their mental health, she recommends an appointment with a psychiatrist. When appropriate, psychological support can continue in coordination with the treating physician.
